There comes a time in your life when you have to swallow your OCD to be a good mom and I'd say Christmas is one of those times. It is very difficult for me to let go and let the kids do as they will with the tree, no matter if there are 6 decorations on one branch and none on another. But every year I grow up a little more or is it that I just sit back and close my eyes--either way, the kids get there time to decorate and I don't even touch it when there done.
Good Job! I think kids miss out when they cannot participate in the tree decorating. Cannot quite figure out where some of my kids got that from!
